Yoga Classes to Raise Awareness and Support for Veterans Care

November 9, 2014 - November 11, 2014

Helping our Local Vets on Veterans Day Through the Power of Yoga and Meditation

Join the Yoga Community as we raise money for Meghan’s Foundation, which creates awareness and develops programs of Yoga and Meditation to assist Veterans suffering from symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Currently Meghan’s Foundation serves over 50 Veterans and their partners with Free Meditation and Yoga classes throughout Bucks and Lehigh Counties that relies solely on donations. This foundation is dedicated to the loving memory of Meghan(Shortt) Wilent and is based on Meghan’s best qualities of compassion and caring. It is because Meghan’s father is a Marine Corp Vietnam veteran and her husband is an Operation Enduring Freedom [OEF] veteran that this cause was so important to her.

For only $11.00, take a yoga class from Nov 9-11th at the following locations:

  • Cornerstone Clubs (Doylestown, New Hope and Warrington locations)
  • Newtown Athletic Club [November 11th only]
  • The Solebury Club in Buckingham.

On Nov 11th, Veterans can participate at these locations FREE.

Dig Yoga in Lambertville, NJ will hold a special donations class on Saturday, Nov 8th from 12-1 pm in their Lambertville, NJ location only.

All proceeds benefit Meghan’s Foundation which provides free Yoga and Meditation to Veterans suffering from symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Those who cannot attend on the assigned days and wish to make a donation, may go directly to the website: www.meghansfoundation.org. It is with your kindness, compassion and donations that we can help to address the ongoing issue of PTSD for our veteran’s right here in our own backyard. To find out what Yoga classes are offered at each location, check out their websites or call:
