Holly Freed runs 10K for Meghans Foundation
As always we welcome your comments and feedback. Use the “Reply” function at the end of this blog.
Holly Barbera Freed, a friend of the Foundation and committee member, is running a 10K race in Washington Crossing, PA on July 4th, 2014. She is doing so to raise funds for the Foundation. If you are a runner and wish to join her team or just wish to “Sponsor” her, below are the instruction on how to do both. Thank you for your continued support!!!
To raise awareness and support for Meghan’s Foundation, I am running a 10K in the 34th Annual Revolutionary Run at Washington Crossing State Park, PA, on July 4, 2014. I would be grateful if you could share this message with others who may be interested in supporting this fundraiser.
Here are three different ways that people can help:
1. Make a donation to Meghan’s Foundation in support of my run: Simply follow this link — https://www.crowdrise.com/RunningForMeghansFoundation/fundraiser/ — and click the orange “DONATE” button on the right-hand side of the page.
2. Spread the word: Forward this email to anyone who may want to support Meghan’s Foundation, which helps veterans in a very meaningful way. If anyone would like more information on the Foundation’s work, they can visit www.MeghansFoundation.org.
3. Join the team by becoming a fundraising runner: There are two steps to do this. FIRST: Go to https://www.crowdrise.com/RunningForMeghansFoundation/fundraiser/ and click the grey “FUNDRAISE FOR THIS CAMPAIGN” button on the right-hand side of the page (this button is located below the scrolling list of donors). You will be prompted to sign up for your own crowdrise.com account, so you can easily set up your own fundraising page on our team site. Then share your fundraising page with everyone you know and ask for donations to support your run for a great cause. SECOND: Register for the Revolutionary Run (10K, 5K, or 1-mile run), which is an event handled by an unaffiliated group. Runners have through June 30 to register online at: www.uppermakefieldba.org/register-for-the-revolutionary-run.html. Chose the “Individual Runner” signup and select the distance you are comfortable with running.
Thanks so much for passing this message along. I am really looking forward to the Revolutionary Run this year because I am running to support such a good cause.
Sincerely,
Holly Barbera Freed
P.S. If anyone wants to learn why this fundraiser is so important to me personally, they can see my fundraiser profile page at https://www.crowdrise.com/hollyfreed and click my profile pic to read “About Holly,” or just ask me.
